Improved Search Engine Ranking: Step 2: Keywords

Keywords are important just because their intrinsic value points out that keywords are a summary for what’s about to be coming.

What are keywords?

The words on my keys are my keywords…. I put the words on my keys so I can distinguish one key from another.

Keywords have to do with helping you out finding something….

Keywords mean different things for different people.

3 different keywords

• Advertising keywords: the keywords that advertisers bid on to get their ad shown in contextual targeted advertisements
  (e.g. flower shop)
• "SEO" keywords: the words and word combinations people type in a search engine to look things up
  (e.g. all the words you type into your favorite search engine!)
• HTML keywords: the words you put between the HTML tags in the head of your HTML page
  (e.g. <META Name="keywords" Content="eye drops, dry eyes">)

For improved search engine ranking we are interested in the SEO keywords.
