Twittering for hotel rooms

Most of my friends and family members use Twitter to keep in touch with each other and also to run their businesses.
During the course of our communication we discovered to our delight that hotel chains including international hotels like Best Western, Four Seasons and the Marriot hotels have also embraced the Twitter phenomenon.
To me, this is a great way for the hotels to provide valuable info including offers, special dates, happenings around the city/town, guests’ feedback and also happenings around the hotels.
Hotel providers like laterooms, Expedia and Last Minute also use Twitter where they keep in regular touch with their followers.
